  • Paul Dunn

    Chief Story-Teller at Clarity, B1G1 Co-Founder, TEDx Speaker, Mentor Global Entrepreneurs

    Paul is a 4-time TEDx speaker. He is a Senior Fellow in one of the World’s Leading Think Tanks and holds a Lifetime Service Award to the Accounting Profession in the UK.

    Paul first made his mark on the Accounting profession through the radical Accountants’ Boot Camp process enabling over 17,000 Accountants worldwide to work with their clients in new ways.

    His book, (co-written with Ron Baker) ‘The Firm of the Future’, is widely regarded as a breakthrough book for professional firms.

  • Heather Smith

    USA Accounting Today listed Heather as one of 21 people helping shape (and reshape) the accounting industry in 2020.

    A technology and lifestyle accountant with a deep understanding of automated integrated cloud business tools and how business apps can be implemented and utilised effectively to improve workflow and surface information useful for data-informed decisions. She extensively shares her methodologies, business strategies and work-life balance practices through the ‘Cloud Stories’ podcast, multiple Cloud Accounting books, the Accounting Apps newsletter, blogs and social media platforms.

  • Aynsley Damery

    Aynsley is a chartered accountant, multi-award winning entrepreneur, international keynote speaker and the CEO and co-founder of Clarity. He has advised thousands of businesses around the world and sits as an advisory board member on a number of companies and charities.

    Aynsley left KPMG in 2000 to become a partner in Tayabali Tomlin, a multi-award winning accounting firm in the UK. Aynsley was instrumental in transforming the business from a traditional regional accounting firm to a niche business advisory firm, which he sold in 2018 to Crowe.

  • Steph Hinds

    Steph is an accountant, technologist and founder of Growthwise, an accounting firm in Newcastle. She’s on a mission to help accountants collaborate, challenge and learn from each other to shape the future of the accounting industry.

    Steph decided to become an accountant because she wanted to change the future of small businesses in Australia. She believes that it is an accountant’s job to take their skills in analysing numbers and apply them in all areas of a business, to ensure it ultimately kicks arse (in whatever shape that looked like to them).

  • Steven Briginshaw

    Steven is an award-winning entrepreneur, author of the international bestselling book The Profits Principles, international speaker and the COO and co-founder of Clarity. He’s a chartered accountant and has been in the profession for over 20 years.

    Steven has also started, built and sold two award-winning accounting and advisory firms.

    Steven has helped thousands of business owners and accounting firms around the world to build an extraordinary business doing what they love whilst generating the profit and cash to choose how to spend their time.

  • Mark Holton

    Mark has more than 30 years’ experience as an Accountant and Tax Agent in practice. Mark has developed specialised skills in corporate presentations and training with extensive experience in Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom and Canada.  

    Mark is a lively and entertaining speaker, whether as a key-note addressing large audiences, the facilitator of a Partner Retreat or Conference, or the leader of Professional Development course. His engaging speaking style means that his audiences are always alert and entertained at his events.

    He is also a respected consultant in taxation and business management, in particular business advisory services implementation and delivery using key structured advisory systems and software.

  • David Smith

    David Smith is a founding director of Smithink which, since 2001, has assisted professional service firms with their strategy, business management, governance, mergers and acquisitions and succession. He is an independent chairman, director, mentor or coach to many accounting and other firms.

    He has a special interest in technology and was the creator of the major ATSA technology event for the accounting industry which was sold to National Media in 2017.

    Previously, for over 16 years David was a partner at chartered accounting firm PKF (now BDO) Sydney and was managing partner in the late 1990s.  At PKF he created Corporate Registry, Self Managed Super Admin and Document Management software. The PKF Technology business was sold to MYOB in 1999. He also had a stint as CEO of Class.

    Ric is the co-founder and CEO of Principa, a company dedicated to helping Accountants and Business Advisors enhance the performance of their own business and those of clients through the use of a robust suite of tools, methodologies and support processes. 

    Prior to the formation of Principa in 2001, Ric co-founded Results Accountants’ Systems, which conceived and conducted the Accountants’ Boot Camp around the world. It is acknowledged as being one of the most innovative initiatives ever offered to the accounting profession and has spawned a plethora of organisations that seek to help accountants better service their clients. 

    Ric is a qualified accountant and has been a partner in public practice prior to which he was a tenured lecturer in the Business School at Southern Cross University, Australia. He blends his practical experience with his research and teaching background to articulate complex concepts in a coherent and entertaining manner.
